Reconstruction project of the Pendik Church

In 1905 the French community of the Pendik district built a chapel that remained open until the 70's. It was then that it was abandoned and was transfered to the State treasury as part of State property.

Located in a privileged area of Pendik and covering an area of 8,500 ft2, the small chapel with a capacity of 80-100 people, is in ruins today waiting to be restored...

The IPCF has asked the authorities for a 49-year lease of the chapel, so that it can be rebuilt and used as a church open publicly to the Pendik community. Permits are being processed in respective government cabinets as we speak, and we are waiting for final approval.

This will not only give us a more public presence in this part of Istanbul- which has a population exceeding 750,000, but will also allow us to organize public events that share the blessings of the Gospel.

If you, individually or as organization, are interested in supporting this project please contact us. Thank you!
